Improving Asynchronous Instruction: Libraries, Educational Technology, and the TPCK Framework

Educational technology is often used to spice up our teaching repertoire, rather than as a tool for effective asynchronous learning. During COVID, academic librarians were tasked with finding new models of delivering IL instruction asynchronously, using existing tools and resources to reach our patrons who were learning remotely. This presentation provides librarians with a theoretical construct as a basis for effectively incorporating educational technology into IL instruction.
